Macro Picture

Markets continued their sideways pattern as investors keep to the sidelines waiting for progress for the next overhang to be wiped away, the debt ceiling.  The Nasdaq was up a bit this week bucking the trend and is now up 24.5% YTD, well ahead of the Dow which is fractionally higher.
