Macro Picture
It was a quiet and down holiday-shortened week with the major US markets ending down about 1%. Small caps did finish up almost 1%. The S&P is still down about 7% YTD with more growth-oriented markets down more. Meanwhile, bonds continue to have their worst year since the late 40s with the Barclay's Agg down almost 8%.
