Markets are opening higher as tech earnings, especially from Meta Platforms, boosts buying activity- META is +11% pre-market. US GDP came in at just +1.1%, well below the consensus estimate of +2.0%. We also had the Fed's preferred inflation gauge, PCE, come in hotter than expected at +4.2% vs +3.7% estimated.
