Daily Note | July 30, 2024 | RSF Looks Good, HIE Liquidation?

Stocks are slightly higher on the day as the two-day FOMC Fed meeting gets underway. We are also in the thick of earnings season with Microsoft, AMD and Starbucks after the bell today. The BOJ is also meeting in what could be, but is unlikely to be, an eventful central bank day.

Interest rates are twisting steeper this am with the 10-yr sitting at 4.18%.
